Onango has chosen URALYA as his entrance music. Odero Onango looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Anthony! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Odero Onango! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Onango with that takedown attempt. Onango looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! A head kick misses from Anthony. Onango steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Onango is trying hard to land a takedown here. Anthony sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Anthony went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Onango with a lazy takedown attempt and Anthony counters with a head kick. Dave Anthony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Odero Onango. Anthony has taken the fight to the clinch.

Anthony pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Onango shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Anthony as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anthony closes the distance and pushes Onango back into the cage. Onango drops down looking for an ankle pick but Anthony pulls his leg out and moves away.
Anthony really is a fat lump. Anthony gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anthony misses with a knee to the head. Anthony lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Anthony looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anthony's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Further stalling from Anthony.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Onango keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Anthony performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Onango with a lazy takedown attempt and Anthony counters with a left and a right that stings Onango. Onango takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Anthony looks to land a combination but Onango avoids it well. Anthony lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Anthony drives through and clinches with Onango against the cage.

Anthony is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Anthony wants to stand but Onango has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anthony looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Anthony drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Anthony jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Onango closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Anthony quickly recovers to half guard. Anthony is looking to escape. Anthony is pressing down on Onango's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Onango prevents Anthony from getting back to his feet. Onango stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anthony swivels though and keeps the full guard. Anthony lands some strikes from the bottom. Anthony wants to stand and escape but Onango is having none of it. Anthony lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Anthony controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Onango is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anthony stands up and waves to Onango to follow him. Anthony closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Onango blocks an elbow strike from Anthony.
Anthony gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Anthony stopping the sweep attempt from Onango.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anthony engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Onango has a closed guard, preventing Anthony from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Anthony is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Onango showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Anthony.
Onango is trying hard to land a takedown here. Anthony sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Dave Anthony is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Anthony moves into range and clinches up with Onango.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Anthony breaks the clinch.
Anthony stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anthony wants it to stay on the feet. Anthony clinches up against the cage. Anthony drags the fight down to the ground.
Onango is fighting to break Anthony's control of his arms but Anthony is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Anthony throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Anthony is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Onango is controlling him. Onango working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Onango won't allow Anthony to sweep him here. Anthony might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Anthony looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Dave Anthony dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Onango tries for a takedown but Anthony sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Onango with a lazy takedown attempt and Anthony counters with a one-two to the body. Anthony throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Onango. Anthony throws a head kick but Onango moves out of range.
Onango will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Anthony appears to be looking for a big counter. Dave Anthony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Odero Onango. Anthony fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Onango, pushing him back against the cage. Anthony turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Anthony moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Anthony has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Onango takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Anthony has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Anthony escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Anthony moves into range and clinches up with Onango. Anthony manages to break the clinch.
Onango will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Anthony swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Despite the aggression on Onango's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Anthony lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Onango circles away quickly and effectively. Anthony tries to clinch up but Onango circles away and keeps his distance. Anthony has managed to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anthony breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Anthony closes the distance and clinches. Anthony has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Onango uses from the top position. Anthony manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Onango is defended easily by Anthony. Anthony moves into the clinch. Anthony turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Anthony manages to end up in side control. Anthony decides to stand up, so the ref orders Onango to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anthony throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Onango. Anthony throws a sloppy head kick and Onango moves out of range easily. Anthony has closed the distance and engaged Onango in a clinch.
Anthony's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Anthony throws a right and a left that both miss. Onango fails with the takedown. Anthony throws a head kick that misses. Onango changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anthony tries to avoid it but Onango manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anthony to the ground. Anthony escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Anthony wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Anthony is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Onango can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anthony forces Onango back against the cage and clinches. Anthony jumps guard and drags Onango to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Onango with a flurry of punches that miss. Anthony wants to stand and escape but Onango is having none of it. Onango is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Onango throws a strike but Anthony rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Dave Anthony overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Anthony slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Anthony tries to stand but Onango is controlling from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Dave Anthony showed his dominance in that final round. Well Anthony has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
