Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Holly (ranked 24838 p4p, 619 weight class) and Ryan Hall (ranked 21314 p4p, 602 weight class). Roger Holly could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ryan Hall's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Holly.
Holly shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hall as he avoids it easily.
Hall tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Hall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holly tries to avoid it but Hall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holly to the ground. Holly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Holly forces Hall back against the cage and clinches.
Holly can't get the takedown.

Hall manages to pull guard.
Holly in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Holly is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hall can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hall drives through and clinches with Holly against the cage.

Holly jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hall walks away with a smile on his face. Holly gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Holly rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hall gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hall jumps guard but Holly stands there with Hall around his waist. Hall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Holly drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hall pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hall dives in and grabs Holly's left leg, looking for a takedown. Holly pushes down on Hall's head and hops out.
Holly shoots in looking for a takedown but Hall manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Holly's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Holly manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hall manages to get himself to full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Roger Holly.
