Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacques Daniel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Winkle! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Daniel misses its intended target. Winkle rushes Daniel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Daniel. Daniel has had enough of the clinch but Winkle keeps him there for the moment. A hook to the body from Daniel.
Daniel lands a nice uppercut. Daniel scores with a hook to the body. Daniel misses with a punch on the inside.
Daniel softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniel manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Daniel throws a head punch that misses. Daniel swings wildly with an uppercut but Winkle uses good head movement to avoid it.

Daniel trying to control the position but instead, Winkle has worked for underhooks and has pushed Daniel into the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Winkle. Winkle tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Daniel smiles and moves away.
Winkle is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Daniel's half guard. Winkle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Daniel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniel has his hands clasped together around Winkle's back. He's all about the action. Daniel is trying to maintain the position but Winkle is very close to passing his half guard. Winkle wants to free his trapped foot but Daniel is holding on for dear life with his legs. Winkle thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Daniel's head. Winkle trying to control the action but Daniel is working from the bottom. Winkle throwing shots but Daniel is blocking nicely. Winkle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Winkle thumps the canvas. That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniel is looking to control Winkle's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Daniel avoid being mounted? Winkle is keen to just control but Daniel is a slippery customer. Daniel trying to hold on to Winkle's head to control him but Winkle postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Winkle with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Daniel has his hands clasped together around Winkle's back. He's all about the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Winkle is thwarting Daniel's attempts to control the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Winkle thows a huge punch but Daniel dodges it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Daniel tries to get to full guard but Winkle has control of the leg. Daniel controlling the position for now. Daniel avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Winkle. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Winkle lands a nice short elbow. Winkle is trying to control. Daniel wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Winkle not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Winkle looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Winkle is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Daniel is not content to let Winkle control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daniel lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Winkle gets in close and instigates a clinch. Daniel lands with a left to the head. Daniel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Winkle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Daniel swats him away and circles back towards the center. Winkle tries to clinch but Daniel moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Daniel, as that shot connected.

Jacques Daniel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Daniel gets off balance looking for a body kick and Winkle counters with a nice double leg into side control. Daniel won't be happy with that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniel can't do much from the bottom here. Daniel is trying to improve his position. Winkle in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The strikes coming from Winkle are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Winkle is putting a hurting on Daniel here, landing some big shots from side control. That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniel tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Winkle easily slips into full mount! Winkle with good strikes from the mount here! Winkle has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Winkle lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Daniel hang on? Daniel tries to hold on but Winkle pushes him away. Winkle pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
It looks like Jacques Daniel has been cut. Daniel takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Daniel is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Daniel takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Oh Daniel is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Daniel tries to hold on but Winkle pushes him away. Winkle raining down hammerfists from mount. Winkle postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Daniel is out cold - huge knockout for Winkle!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tony Winkle! Tony Winkle spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
