Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Gross (ranked 1450 p4p, 173 weight class) and Moe Lester (ranked 2845 p4p, 312 weight class). Lester has chosen Get Back - Ludacris as his entrance music. Rob Gross could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Moe Lester's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters circling - Lester throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gross.
Gross looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Moe Lester dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lester connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gross momentarily.
Lester throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Gross's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Lester dives in looking to finish as Gross flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Lester's strikes! Lester is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Gross's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Gross was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Moe Lester!
In his post fight interview, Moe Lester started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
