Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Wackson ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Usko Unbelivable! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wackson has closed the distance and engaged Unbelivable in a clinch.
Unbelivable pulls guard successfully.
Unbelivable is controlling Wackson 's posture. Unbelivable throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Wackson escapes and throws Unbelivable's legs to the side, diving into side control! Wackson decides to stand back up. Wackson steps back and let's Unbelivable get back to his feet. Wackson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wackson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Unbelivable.
Unbelivable has clasped his hands together around Wackson 's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Unbelivable tries to score with some ground and pound. Wackson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Unbelivable cracks Wackson with a big right hand but Wackson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Unbelivable wants to stand but Wackson has his arm trapped. Wackson 's coaches at MMA Dojo (Top Gym in Tokyo*) have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wackson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Unbelivable is chipping away with strikes.
Wackson is pushing Unbelivable's head away, looking to escape. Unbelivable manages to hold on to the position though. You can see the frustration on Wackson 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Wackson is not content to let Unbelivable control the position. Wackson is looking for a sweep. Wackson gets back to half guard. Unbelivable seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wackson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Unbelivable throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Wackson to regain full guard.

Unbelivable keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wackson 's head. Unbelivable postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Unbelivable tries to free his leg and advance position but Wackson is retaining full guard. Wackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Unbelivable can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Unbelivable landing with the ground and pound. Unbelivable must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Wackson has momentary wrist control but Unbelivable slips an elbow through the middle.

Unbelivable sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Wackson doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Unbelivable paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Wackson - great work!
