Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Barletta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barletta has chosen You're Going Down - Sick Puppies as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barletta misses with a two punch combination.
Barletta shoots in looking for a takedown. Santos tries to sprawl out of it but Barletta keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Santos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Santos fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Barletta sprawls well initially but Santos persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Santos is trying to control the action in half guard but Barletta is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Barletta pushes Santos off looking to stand but Santos dives back in and keeps control.
Santos wants to free his trapped foot but Barletta is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Santos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Barletta is bucking up trying to escape but Santos cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Santos pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Santos lands a big shot there that rocks Barletta but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Santos lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Barletta is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Barletta is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Santos locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Barletta is forced to tap!
