Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuuri Sando (ranked 2612 p4p, 335 weight class) and Mikey Jackal (ranked 2941 p4p, 374 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kuuri Sando! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikey Jackal! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackal avoids the head kick by Sando.
Sando bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sando throws an elbow but Jackal slips to the side and avoids it well. Sando decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jackal to his feet. Sando swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jackal fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sando looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jackal bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sando's head backwards. Sloppy strikes from Jackal. Those never looked like landing. Jackal with a nice cross.
It looks like Kuuri Sando has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Jackal throws a right and a left that Sando avoids nicely. Sando is looking to clinch but Jackal is avoiding it.
Jackal swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sando counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jackal! Sando connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jackal some visible discomfort.
Jackal takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jackal tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackal is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Jackal wants to get back to full guard. Sando looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackal with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jackal is trying to get back to full guard. Sando slips a nice elbow through Jackal's hands, connecting with Jackal's forehead. Jackal pushes Sando off looking to stand but Sando dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sando is trying to control the action in half guard but Jackal is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sando scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackal tries to roll over but Sando keeps him under control. Sando scoring with strikes to the body and head. Sando postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Jackal to stand up. Mikey Jackal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackal swinging wildly here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sando. Jackal does a little dance to reset his feet. Jackal bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. It seemed like Jackal was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Sando missing with a left hand there. Jackal was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jackal goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Sando seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Sando moves in looking to clinch but Jackal pushes him off. Jackal throws a right and a left that both miss. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sando throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Sando shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jackal sprawls well. Jackal wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sando gets slowly back to his feet. Jackal now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sando misses with a body kick. Jackal throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sando. Jackal shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sando eats them both and turns towards Jackal to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Sando is rocked! Jackal plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Sando swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Sando face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mikey Jackal!
