Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Conor Larkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Herbert Mullin!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Mullin.
Larkin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Larkin half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Herbert Mullin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mullin throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've been hearing reports that Larkin has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Mullin connects with a leg kick. Larkin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mullin connects with a single shot there.
Mullin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mullin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Larkin.
Larkin dives in for a single leg takedown but Mullin sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Larkin avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Mullin scores with a jab to the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Larkin. Mullin does a little dance to reset his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mullin has his foot on Larkin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Larkin works his way back into a safe position though.
Larkin advances to half guard.

Mullin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Larkin pulls his head out easily.
Mullin tries to roll over but Larkin keeps him under control.
Larkin wants to pass the guard but Mullin is defending well.

Larkin is trying for a kimura here. Mullin looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Larkin wins by kimura!
