Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gianni Castellana (ranked 3419 p4p, 360 weight class) and Joshua Brown (ranked 3447 p4p, 363 weight class). Castellana comes into the arena with Here Comes the Boom blaring out of the sound system. Brown has chosen Hail Mary Tupac as his entrance music. Gianni Castellana has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joshua Brown!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown fails with the takedown.
An attempted straight right counter from Castellana misses the target.
Brown with a poor takedown
and Castellana counters with a nice low kick that buckles Brown's knee momentarily.
Brown is trying hard to land a takedown here. Castellana sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Castellana is looking to counter with head kicks.
Gianni Castellana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joshua Brown.
Castellana blocks a leg kick.
Brown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brown uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Castellana gets caught flat footed, as Brown shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Brown is looking to work some ground and pound but Castellana has wrist control.
Castellana is trying to control the position but Brown postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Castellana works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Brown wants to control from the top but Castellana keeps moving.
Castellana wants to get back to his feet but Brown is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown postures up and lands a big shot to Castellana's brow.
Castellana looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there.
Brown throws a strike but Castellana rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Brown has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Castellana can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Brown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Castellana doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Brown is tightening it up a little... Castellana has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Castellana reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Castellana taps out! Nice BJJ there by Brown!

In his post fight interview, Joshua Brown started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
