Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gino Trecozze (ranked 5155 p4p, 464 weight class) and Ryan Keenan (ranked 3720 p4p, 390 weight class). Ryan Keenan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gino Trecozze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Keenan! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keenan with a body punch. A glancing blow. Trecozze dives in and grabs Keenan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Keenan pushes down on Trecozze's head and hops out. Trecozze looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Keenan is fending him off so far but Trecozze persists. Nope, Keenan circles away and we're back to standing. Keenan leaves Trecozze with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Keenan! But no joy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gino Trecozze. That's going to take a lot out of him. Keenan punishes Trecozze's body with a nice straight punch. Keenan throws a looping overhand right but Trecozze ducks down to avoid it. Trecozze seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trecozze steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Keenan. Trecozze tries for a takedown but Keenan circles away easily and Keenan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trecozze looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Keenan wants to control but Trecozze is keeping busy.
Keenan controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Keenan wants to improve his position but Trecozze is controlling well.
Keenan tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Trecozze has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keenan tries to get back to half guard but can't. Keenan tries to hold on but Trecozze postures up. Trecozze is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Keenan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Keenan tries to hold on but Trecozze postures up. Trecozze goes for an armbar but Keenan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Keenan. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trecozze working for a triangle but Keenan defends it easily.

Trecozze has an active guard here but Keenan has managed to pass into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Trecozze trying to control here.

Ryan Keenan dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Keenan misses with a looping left. Trecozze throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Keenan's waist but Keenan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Trecozze off to one side. Keenan feints a counter leg kick. Keenan looks to throw the jab but Trecozze is out of range. Trecozze went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Trecozze throws an off balance right hand
and Keenan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gino Trecozze is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Trecozze shoots in and gets a takedown into Keenan's guard. Keenan is looking to stand back up but Trecozze counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Keenan. Trecozze looks to land a strike but Keenan avoids it nicely and regains full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trecozze postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Keenan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Trecozze, into his guard.
Trecozze is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Keenan defends well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trecozze trying to keep a closed guard but Keenan is proving a slippery customer.
Keenan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Trecozze, up you get! Trecozze tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Keenan defends well and Trecozze ends up having to push Keenan into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Keenan leaves Trecozze with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A countering left hand to the body from Keenan misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gino Trecozze. That's going to take a lot out of him. Keenan connects with an inside leg kick. Keenan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Trecozze sees it coming and avoids it easily. Trecozze shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Keenan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Trecozze is working away from the top position though. Trecozze is just content to waste time from the top position. Keenan takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. We've been hearing that Trecozze has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trecozze wants to control from the top but Keenan keeps moving. Keenan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Trecozze drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Keenan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Trecozze has Keenan in his guard. Keenan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Keenan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Trecozze has his foot on Keenan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Keenan works his way back into a safe position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trecozze looking for subs off his back but Keenan has passed one foot through into half guard.
Keenan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Trecozze is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Keenan pulls his head out easily. Keenan seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Keenan controlling the pace. Keenan prevents Trecozze from improving his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Keenan moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Trecozze. Trecozze is looking to reverse the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Keenan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Trecozze checks a leg kick. Trecozze lands an overhand right. Keenan is looking to slow Trecozze down with leg kicks. Trecozze shoots and misses and Keenan counters with a thumping low kick. Trecozze takes a jab right on the kisser.

That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Trecozze with that takedown attempt. Keenan only half commits to the counter leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trecozze feints and as Keenan raises his hands in defense, Trecozze changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Keenan is controlling Trecozze's posture. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trecozze accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Trecozze's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Keenan has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Trecozze in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gino Trecozze has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trecozze passes Keenan's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Keenan tries to roll over but Trecozze keeps him under control. Trecozze is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Keenan wants to get back to full guard. Trecozze looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Trecozze looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Trecozze working the head and body with strikes. Gino Trecozze overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Trecozze is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Keenan sees it coming and defends easily. Trecozze is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Keenan wants to improve his position but Trecozze is controlling well.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Trecozze lands a nice short elbow. Trecozze is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Keenan defends it well. Trecozze is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Trecozze is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
And that's the end of the fight! Gino Trecozze showed his dominance in that final round. I think Keenan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
