Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adel Kassib (ranked 4854 p4p, 446 weight class) and Kevin Knuckles (ranked 2420 p4p, 281 weight class). Kevin Knuckles has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adel Kassib! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kevin Knuckles! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knuckles tries to bum rush Kassib with a series of wild strikes but Kassib uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Knuckles looks to score with a jab to the body but Kassib is just out of range. Kassib shoots in and drives through. Knuckles sprawls well. Nice shot lands for Knuckles.
It looks like Adel Kassib has been cut. Kassib rushes Knuckles and presses him up against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Knuckles takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Kassib is trying to pull guard but Knuckles has him pressed against the cage. Kassib is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Knuckles to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adel Kassib. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kassib ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kassib no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kassib throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kassib has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Knuckles can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Knuckles looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kassib is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kassib is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Knuckles defends well. Knuckles must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kassib throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kassib is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Knuckles defends well. Knuckles tries to free his leg and advance position but Kassib is retaining full guard. Knuckles sitting in guard, not really doing much. Knuckles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kassib. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kassib looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That was a close round but I would say that Adel Kassib will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Adel Kassib's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Knuckles throws a right hand that Kassib ducks under and follows up with a left that Kassib also avoids with ease. Kassib has managed to clinch.
Knuckles throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kassibs head. Kassib jumps guard but Knuckles turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kassib tries to pull guard but Knuckles won't allow it.
Knuckles is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Knuckles's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Knuckles's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Knuckles is struggling to control the position. Kassib jumps guard but Knuckles stands there with Kassib around his waist. Kassib gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adel Kassib. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kassib is trying to pull guard but Knuckles turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knuckles pushes Kassib back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Kassib tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Knuckles smiles and moves away.
Kassib tries for a takedown but Knuckles circles away easily and Knuckles counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kassib! Knuckles lets Kassib back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Kassib is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Knuckles with a body punch. A glancing blow. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Knuckles catches Kassib with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Kassib forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kevin Knuckles!
