The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bapp scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Silva Jr loads up on a big right hand but Bapp slips the punch.
Bapp looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Silva Jr throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bapp counters with a stiff right hand.
Silva Jr throws a lazy uppercut
and Silva Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bapp steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Silva Jr.

Silva Jr rushes Bapp and presses him up against the cage.
Silva Jr tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Silva Jr tries to throw a body punch but Bapp avoids it by throwing Silva Jr back against the cage.

Bapp blocks a body shot from Silva Jr.

Bapp manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Silva Jr wants to pass the guard but Bapp is keeping the position.
