Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Lion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, BM Websphere!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lion swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Websphere uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Websphere slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Websphere connects with a leg kick. Lion looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Lion feints a jab promting Websphere to slip. Lion then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Websphere slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Lion misses with a double jab
and Lion takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
No joy there for Lion, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Websphere throws a shot to the body.
Websphere smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lion is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Websphere pounces like a tiger and cracks Lion with a vicious hook! Lion is down but not out! Websphere follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). BM Websphere!
