Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Mario Zambrana (ranked 4507 p4p, 485 weight class) and Berto Kin (ranked 20429 p4p, 613 weight class). Zambrana kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Impact is Imminent. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Zambrana. Zambrana obviously looking to wear him down.
Berto Kin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zambrana connects with a right hand. Kin shakes it off.

Zambrana catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Kin stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Kin walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Kin ducks into a a hook from Zambrana and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
Zambrana connects with a leg kick. Kin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Kin glances at the clock... BAM! Zambrana nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Kin crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Kin is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Mario Zambrana opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
