Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hector Rivera (ranked 24801 p4p, 0 weight class) and Namvar Khoramov (ranked 4734 p4p, 194 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hector Rivera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Namvar Khoramov! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera shoots in looking for a takedown. Khoramov tries to sprawl out of it but Rivera keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Khoramov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rivera takes one on the button.
It looks like Hector Rivera has been cut. Khoramov drives through and clinches with Rivera against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khoramov has Rivera pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Khoramov pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rivera tumbling to the mat - Khoramov dives into Rivera's guard. Rivera wriggles free and stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Namvar Khoramov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Khoramov does no damage. Rivera swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Khoramov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Khoramov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Khoramov tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Rivera. Khoramov trying to control the action but Rivera is working from the bottom. Rivera is controlling Khoramov's trapped leg to prevent Khoramov from advancing to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivera is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Khoramov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Khoramov's back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khoramov defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Rivera's arms. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rivera is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Khoramov. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Rivera will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. What can Khoramov do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Khoramov trying to get back to his feet but Rivera is in full control for now. Rivera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rivera lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Khoramov hold on?!
Rivera cracks Khoramov with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Khoramov from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Rivera lands a shot to the head. Khoramov wants to control his opponent's hands but Rivera gets his hands free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rivera scores with punches from the back.
Rivera has managed to slip his arm under Khoramov's chin. This could be all over... yep, Khoramov is tapping out! Submission win for Rivera.
