Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Hussein Stahl (ranked 3224 p4p, 116 weight class) and Sanngriðr Koningh (ranked 7014 p4p, 68 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stahl misses with a low kick.
Stahl throws a hook but Koningh blocks it.
No joy there for Stahl, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Stahl lands with a kick to the temple. Koningh shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Stahl moves out of range of the body kick from Koningh.
Koningh takes one to the side of the head.
Stahl is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Stahl bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stahl looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Koningh misses with a hook. Stahl ducked under it nicely.

Koningh scores with a sloppy right hand. Stahl should have avoided that one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Koningh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stahl moves away.
Koningh fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stahl has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Koningh stuns Stahl with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Koningh ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Koningh throws a sloppy head kick and Stahl moves out of range easily.
Stahl throws a counter high kick but Koningh was just alert enough to avoid it.
A left lands for Stahl.
A low kick from Stahl is predictable there
and Koningh counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stahl throws a low kick, looking for Koningh's leg but Koningh calmly moves out of range.
Koningh ducks under a wild hook from Stahl.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Koningh.
Stahl misses with a double jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Koningh misses the target.
Stahl definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The fighters circle momentarily. Koningh darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Koningh throws out a loose jab but Stahl uses good head movement to avoid it.

Koningh cracks a nice hook into Stahl's ribs.

It looked like Stahl was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

enabling Koningh to counter with a crisp jab.
Stahl feints and then cracks Koningh's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Koningh down.
Koningh throws the left hand but Stahl avoids the punch easily.

Koningh looks to score with a jab to the body but Stahl is just out of range.
Stahl throws a hook to the side of Koningh's head but Koningh sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Koningh misses with a looping right.
A nice leg kick lands there from Koningh.
Stahl moves away from the strike by Koningh.
Stahl throws a lazy right hand but Koningh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Stahl throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stahl misses with a wild combination.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Koningh is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Stahl had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Stahl gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Koningh just misses with a punch to the body.
Stahl tried to score with a low kick but Koningh checks it.
Koningh cracks Stahl with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Stahl is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Stahl is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Stahl could not beat the count!
