Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Mark Hunt (ranked 23966 p4p, 480 weight class) and David Tua (ranked 6817 p4p, 451 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Hunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Tua! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunt misses with a lunging right hand
letting Tua counter with a right hand.
It looks like Mark Hunt has been cut. Tua swinging wildly here.
Hunt fires out a quick counter leg kick but Tua just manages to avoid it. Tua waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hunt. Tua moves into the clinch. Tua prevents Hunt from breaking the clinch. Tua misses with a hook to the ribs.
Hunt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hunt throws a series of punches but Tua moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tua swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hunt moves forwards but Tua connects with a nice, crisp jab. Tua is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt keeps the fight on the outside. Hunt misses with a hook
and Tua counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Tua keeps control of Hunt as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Hunt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tua swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hunt was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Hunt swings widly with a right hand
enabling Tua to counter with a crisp jab. Hunt throws a right hand that misses
and Tua counters with a big uppercut that drops Hunt face first to the mat! Will he beat the count?! He's struggled up to his knees on 7 but it doesn't look like he's going to make it... he's been counted out! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). David Tua!
