Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Michael Scott (ranked 22324 p4p, 572 weight class) and Aaron Lowell (ranked 5971 p4p, 489 weight class). Lowell has chosen The Qemists - Run You as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Lowell! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Scott darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Scott throws a shot from downtown. Lowell moves away and avoids it. Lowell misses with a straight left. Lowell walks into a jab. Scott throws a body shot but no joy. Scott just misses with a punch to the body.
Lowell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Scott looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Scott defending well as Lowell loads up on a big left hand. It looked like Scott was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lowell. Lowell takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Scott looks to land a left hand but Lowell moved out of range nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lowell lands with a straight right. Scott didn't see that one coming. A punch lands to the side of Lowell 's head but he takes it in his stride. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lowell!
It looks like Michael Scott has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A looping hook to the body misses from Lowell. Scott does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott works Lowell's body with a nice hook. Nice defenses there by Scott. A swing and a miss from Lowell. Lowell fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Scott moves into range and connects with a jab. Lowell drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Scott throws a hook to the side of Lowell's head but Lowell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Scott blocks a jab. A lazy left from Scott finds it's target. Lowell throws a body punch but Scott moves out of range. Lowell keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Scott. Lowell misses the jab. Lowell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lowell throws a right and a left that Scott avoids nicely. Scott misses with a straight left. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Scott tries to clinch up. Scott keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lowell. Lowell moves out of range as Scott strikes. That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott catches Lowell with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Lowell lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Lowell throws a counter combo. Scott lands a nice hook to Lowell's body. Lowell takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Lowell slips under a jab. Scott throws a hook to the side of Lowell's head but Lowell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lowell throws out a counter right but Scott avoids it with no problem. Lowell jabbing away but nothing is landing. Scott scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lowell doesn't seem bothered though. Scott is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Lowell swats away the attempt to clinch by Scott. Scott slips under a jab from Lowell.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lowell misses with a hook. Scott scores with a hook to the body. Lowell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lowell scores with a decent looking hook. Lowell takes a body punch but keeps moving. Lowell jabbing away but nothing is landing. Scott cracks Lowell with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Scott throws a body shot but no joy. Lowell misses with an uppercut
and Scott counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Scott moves out of range as Lowell strikes. The fight stays on the outside here - Scott looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Scott throws a shot from downtown. Lowell moves away and avoids it. Lowell looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Scott ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Lowell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. and Scott counters with a stiff right hand. Scott lands with a cross. Scott's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lowell under the eye.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott throws a body punch but Lowell moves out of range. Lowell closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Michael Scott is winning the standup battle so far. Lowell slips a jab from Scott. Scott lands a nice hook to Lowell's body. Lowell takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Scott cracks Lowell with a right hand to the side of the head. Lowell scores with a one two! Scott had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Lowell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Scott throws an off balance right hand
and Lowell counters with a nice uppercut. Scott throws a predictable looking body shot
and Lowell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lowell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scott moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Scott lands with a cross. Scott ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lowell moves away.

and Lowell counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lowell takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Scott throws an overhand right that lands on Lowell's shoulder, as Lowell tries to avoid the shot. Lowell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scott.
Scott scores with a punch to the head. Lowell throws a body shot but no joy. Scott throws a body punch but Lowell moves out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lowell! But no joy. Lowell works over Scott's head and body with a nice combination. Scott tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Scott connects with a crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott sizes up Lowell with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Scott lands a jab. Lowell throws a series of punches but Scott moves out of range. Scott staying out of range there. Scott uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lowell. Scott fails in his attempt to clinch. Lowell takes a swing at Scott's ribcage but misses. Scott throws a shot to the body.
Lowell throws a right and a left that Scott avoids nicely. Scott closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Scott lands with a short shot to the head. Lowell's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Lowell has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by Scott. Our sources have told us that Scott has been working on his elbows in the gym. Scott misses with a hook from the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A nice right hand lands inside from Scott. Scott misses with a short punch on the inside. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lowell. Lowell working aggressively here.
Scott gets through Lowell's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Scott misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Both fighters working to control the clinch. Lowell misses with a hook from the clinch. Lowell scores with a shoulder strike. Lowell blocking some punches.

Michael Scott dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Michael Scott's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Scott slips a straight right by Lowell. Scott tries to counter by clinching up but Lowell breaks away and moves out of range. Scott ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Lowell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lowell gets tackled into the ropes by Scott. Scott maintains the clinch. Lowell has a couple of punches blocked by Scott.

A head punch on the inside from Scott fails to land. Lowell's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Lowell trying to control the position but instead, Scott has worked for underhooks and has pushed Lowell into the ropes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott throws a head punch that misses.

Lowell's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Scott connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lowell scrambles back to his feet. Lowell throws a series of punches but Scott moves out of range. Lowell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Scott misses with a hook
and Lowell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Scott takes a swing at Lowell's ribcage but misses. Lowell connects with a crisp jab. Lowell misses the jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Scott. Lowell does a little dance to reset his feet. Lowell takes one to the chin there. Lowell misses the jab. Scott with a nice cross. Aaron Lowell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Scott thuds a left hand into Lowell's body. Lowell walks into a straight right hand from Scott. Michael Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott forces Lowell back against the ropes and clinches. Scott misses with a punch to the body.
Scott lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lowell backwards.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Scott throws a looping overhand right but Lowell ducks down to avoid it. Lowell slips under a jab from Scott. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lowell! But no joy. Lowell looks to throw the jab but Scott is out of range. Scott wants to clinch up but Lowell keeps it at a distance. Lowell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Scott. Lowell keeps the fight on the outside. Lowell is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Lowell misses with the combination.
Scott stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Scott misses with an uppercut. Lowell saw that one coming.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Scott showed his dominance in that final round. Well Scott has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
