Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Gravity (ranked 3746 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Gowdy (ranked 3712 p4p, 349 weight class). Gravity kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gravity. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Gravity! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anderson Gowdy! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gowdy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A counter left hand to the body from Gravity misses its target. Gowdy takes the fight into the clinch. Gravity stalling against the cage.
Gowdy lands with a short head shot on the inside. Gravity prevents a body shot from Gowdy. Gowdy creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. A knee to the head by Gowdy.
It looks like Johnny Gravity has been cut. Gowdy is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Gowdy misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gravity.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gravity's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gravity shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gowdy pinned against the cage. Gowdy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gowdy is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gowdy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gowdy fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gravity clinches up with Gowdy and pushes him back against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Gowdy tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Gowdy is trying to maintain a safe position but Gravity gets an underhook and turns Gowdy into the cage. Gowdy pushes off an throws an elbow but Gravity leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Gowdy tries a knee to the head but Gravity blocks it.

Gravity drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gowdy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Gowdy pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Gowdy throws a head punch that misses. Gowdy is trying to stall.
Gowdy looks to throw an elbow but misses. Gravity gets a trip takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gravity thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gowdy's head. Gowdy pushes Gravity off looking to stand but Gravity dives back in and keeps control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gravity's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Gowdy is trying to stand.
Gravity slips a nice elbow through Gowdy's hands, connecting with Gowdy's forehead. Gowdy is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gravity throwing shots but Gowdy is blocking nicely. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gravity connects with a nice short shot to Gowdy's temple. Gowdy looks winded! Gravity not doing much here.
Gravity is nestled in close to Gowdy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gravity lands a nice short elbow. Gravity perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Gravity has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Anderson Gowdy will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Johnny Gravity's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Gravity shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gowdy defends it nicely. Gowdy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gravity manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Gravity appears to be looking for a big counter. Gowdy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gravity paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gowdy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gravity defends it nicely. Gravity trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gravity is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gowdy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gravity has his hands on Gowdy's head, controlling the position. Gravity tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gravity keeping moving, preventing Gowdy from controlling successfully. Gravity manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gowdy manages to get himself to full guard.
Gravity content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Gravity controls from within his opponent's guard. Gravity keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gowdy's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gowdy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Gravity controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gravity connects with a couple of short punches. Gravity wants to pass the guard but Gowdy is keeping the position. Gravity sitting in guard, not really doing much. Gowdy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gravity gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gowdy is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gravity stands up over Gowdy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Gravity pushing down on Gowdy's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gravity controlling the pace. Gravity drops an elbow to the side of Gowdy's head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gravity working the head and body with strikes. Gravity landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Gravity dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Johnny Gravity's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Gravity controlling the action here. Gowdy tries to roll over but Gravity keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gowdy on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Gowdy taking some punishment here, with Gravity in his half guard. Gravity scores with a big shot! Gowdy's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Gowdy! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Gravity! Johnny Gravity took some time post fight to say the following; 'I KNOCK PEOPLE OUT!!! THIS IS WHAT I DO FOR A LIVING!! I DON'T HAVE BORING FIGHTS I EITHER KNOCK THESE BUMS THE F*CK OUT OR IF THEY CAN TAKE IT I'LL CREATE A WAR ZONE AND TAKE AWAY THEIR SOUL!'.
