Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Gravity (ranked 3746 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Gowdy (ranked 3712 p4p, 349 weight class). Gravity kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gravity. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gowdy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gravity thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gowdy's head.

Gravity's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gravity connects with a nice short shot to Gowdy's temple.

Gravity has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gravity stands up over Gowdy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
