The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lban.
Lban looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.
Lban misses with a body shot.
Lban steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Silva. That one must have hurt.
Lban throws a shot from downtown. Silva moves away and avoids it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Silva! But no joy.
Lban misses with a wild body shot.
Garaile Lban seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva scores with a punch to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lban.

and Silva counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Lban ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lban tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Lban.
Silva drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lban defends it well.
Lban stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Lban misses with a hook. Silva ducked under it nicely.
Silva looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lban scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Silva scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lban doesn't seem bothered though.

Oh Lban is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lban ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lban seems to have got his legs back now.
Lban throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A punch combination from Lban misses.
Silva waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Lban. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Lban to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Silva throws a big right hand that misses.
Lban avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Silva throws an elbow that misses. Lban uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Silva's guard. Nice move by Lban!
Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lban controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Lban won't allow Silva to sweep him here.
Silva wants to stand but Lban is controlling the position.
Lban not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Silva is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lban is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lban was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
OH! Lban has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Silva smells blood and charges in for the finish! Silva unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Lban sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Manuel Silva!
