The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morales swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dean counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Morales will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dean showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Morales.
Morales is breathing heavily. Morales lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dean circles away quickly and effectively. Dean bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morales can't do much from the bottom here. Dean tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dean has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dean has hold of Morales's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Morales tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dean cranks the arm and Morales screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Morales, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Diego Dean! During a confident post fight interview, Diego Dean thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
