0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tristan Moxley! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzalez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Moxley takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Tristan Moxley has been cut. Gonzalez throws a body shot but no joy. Moxley is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Jab, jab by Gonzalez - just one landing. Gonzalez lands a body shot.
Gonzalez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Gonzalez scores with a body shot.
Gonzalez with a body punch. A glancing blow. A momentary lapse in concentration from Gonzalez enables Moxley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gonzalez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gonzalez seems keen to control Moxley's posture. Gonzalez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moxley on the ground. Gonzalez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Moxley with a flurry of punches that miss. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Gonzalez controlling the position. Moxley stands and throws Gonzalez's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gonzalez prevents Moxley from improving position. Moxley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gonzalez is looking for a sweep.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gonzalez tries to get out of the position. Gonzalez is working hard here to advance position. Moxley tries to advance to mount but can't. Moxley has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Gonzalez is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Moxley yanks on the arm and Gonzalez is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Moxley.
