Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Jane (ranked 6610 p4p, 506 weight class) and Roberto Torres (ranked 6731 p4p, 508 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roberto Torres!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Torres looks for the body kick but Jane saw that one coming.
Torres throws a sloppy head kick and Jane moves out of range easily.
Roberto Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Torres moves into the clinch.
Jane has a couple of punches blocked by Torres.
Jane is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Jane drops down looking for an ankle pick but Torres pulls his leg out and moves away.

Torres is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Torres tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Torres moves into range and clinches up with Jane.
Torres is pressed up against the cage. Jane has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Torres down to the mat. Torres avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Jane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jane steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Torres. That one must have hurt.
Torres scores with a nice body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick misses from Torres.
Torres misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jane looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jane is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jane seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Torres for as long as he can get away with.
Jane works his way into full mount!
We've been hearing good reports from Jane's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Torres tries to lock up and control but Jane gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jane scoring with strikes but Torres is staying in there.
Jane is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Jane!
