Davison is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Indestructible. Bob Slaughter has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bob Slaughter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chris Davison! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davison wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Davison fails with the takedown. Davison tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Slaughter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Chris Davison has been cut. Slaughter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Davison. Slaughter thows a left - swing and a miss! Slaughter closes the distance looking to clinch and Davison counters with a takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Davison decides to stand back up. Davison steps back and let's Slaughter get back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Davison looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Davison stalks Slaughter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Slaughter's face. Slaughter staggers backwards, shaken. A big left from Slaughter misses. Slaughter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Davison counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Davison tries to clinch there but Slaughter circles away.
Davison shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Davison stands and steps away. Slaughter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davison tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Slaughter swivels and escapes. Slaughter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Slaughter swings for the body but Davison moves out of range.
Davison doesn't manage to clinch there - Slaughter circles away.
Davison clinches. Davison breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Slaughter throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Davison misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Slaughter clinches. Davison breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Davison doesn't manage to clinch there - Slaughter circles away.
Slaughter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Slaughter misses with a hook. Davison ducked under it nicely. Davison misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bob Slaughter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Davison. Slaughter lands with a shot to the body. Davison looks gassed! Slaughter connects with a jab. Davison clinches but Slaughter breaks the clinch and Slaughter counters with a series of strikes that sends Davison to the canvas! Slaughter follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slaughter is looking to stand up but Davison won't let him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slaughter stands up from guard. Let's bang! Slaughter lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

The fight stays on the outside here - Slaughter looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Davison swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Slaughter counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Davison tries to kick Slaughter off but Slaughter keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slaughter decides to stand and escape the position. Nice takedown defense from Slaughter. No joy for Davison on that attempt. Slaughter is looking to clinch. Some wild striking there from Slaughter.
Slaughter drops Davison with a left and a right! Oh, Davison is hurt - Slaughter dives into side control looking to finish!
That has opened up Chris Davison's cut even more. This has been an exciting period of action! Slaughter stands up and beckons Davison to his feet. Davison circles away from the clinch attempt.
Slaughter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davison manages to avoid it. Davison bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Slaughter takes the fight into the clinch. Slaughter is trying to break the clinch but Davison has him pressed against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davison breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jab, jab by Slaughter - just one landing.
The cut above Chris Davison's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Slaughter wants to clinch and Davison counters with a one-two to the body. Davison is looking to clinch. Davison clinches. Slaughter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Slaughter throws a low kick but it's checked well by Davison. Slaughter tries to clinch and Davison holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Davison escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Davison gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Davison wants to break free but Slaughter has control.
Davison breaks from the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Davison rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Slaughter moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Davison tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Slaughter throws a sloppy body shot
and Davison counters with a shoot takedown. Slaughter fights it but they end up in guard. Davison wants to pass the guard but Slaughter is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Slaughter dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chris Davison's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Davison walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Slaughter misses with a straight left. Davison fails with an attempt to clinch.
Slaughter takes a swing at Davison's ribcage but misses. Slaughter cracks Davison with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Slaughter has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Davison to stand back up!
Chris Davison's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chris Davison's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bob Slaughter! Bob Slaughter is the new heavyweight champion!
