Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alan Ragasatria (ranked 2986 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ato Renato (ranked 4686 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alan Ragasatria!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ato Renato!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Renato fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ragasatria, pushing him back against the cage.
Ragasatria goes for a takedown attempt but Renato pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Renato has Ragasatria up against the cage in a clinch.
Ragasatria could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Renato tries to stall but Ragasatria uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Ragasatria can't get the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ragasatria tries to pull guard but Renato holds him up against the cage and eventually Ragasatria drops back down to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ragasatria has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Renato after a bit of a struggle.

Ragasatria jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Renato walks away with a smile on his face. Ragasatria gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Renato tries to stall but Ragasatria uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Ato Renato.

Renato moves into the clinch.
Renato gets underhooks to prevent Ragasatria's takedown attempt.
Ragasatria tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Renato just stands there and leans against the cage.

Renato looking to stall.
Ragasatria can't get the takedown.
Ragasatria drops down looking for an ankle pick but Renato pulls his leg out and moves away.

Renato has managed to clinch.
Renato is trying to maintain a safe position but Ragasatria gets an underhook and turns Renato into the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ragasatria is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Renato is keeping busy.

Renato is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Ato Renato showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Ragasatria is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Renato avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Renato looking to pass the guard.

Renato drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ragasatria manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Renato has Ragasatria in his guard.


Renato looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ragasatria wants to control from the top but Renato keeps moving.

Ragasatria drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ragasatria jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ragasatria drops back looking for a leg! Renato is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Renato manages to kick Ragasatria off! Ragasatria jumps back into Renato's guard.
Ragasatria is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ragasatria slips nicely into half guard.
Renato really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ragasatria. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Renato actively working from the bottom here.

Renato has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Ragasatria is looking for a kimura but Renato is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ragasatria to get the leverage.

Ragasatria is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Renato is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
