Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Papi Tantor (ranked 694 p4p, 100 weight class) and Augustus Kratos (ranked 1771 p4p, 227 weight class). Kratos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Choices kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Papi Tantor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kratos takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kratos ducks right into an uppercut from Tantor.
A jab from Tantor misses.
Kratos is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Donk. Kratos catches Tantor right on the button with a cross.
Jab, jab by Tantor - just one landing.
It looks like Augustus Kratos has been cut.
Kratos has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Kratos throws a big shot that misses.
Tantor was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Tantor lands a jab to the head.
Tantor lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kratos takes a step back to recover.
Kratos takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tantor scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kratos throws a sloppy body shot
enabling Tantor to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tantor scores with a sloppy right hand. Kratos should have avoided that one.
Kratos is rocked!
Tantor and Kratos are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Tantor throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Kratos into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Tantor knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Papi Tantor!

After winning the bout, Papi Tantor thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
