Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 50 p4p, 6 weight class) and Rocket Bob Frankels (ranked 99 p4p, 13 weight class). Frankels comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dawn....Summer Solstice... kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frankels walks into a jab.

Slice misses with a hook. Frankels ducked under it nicely.
Frankels replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Slice blocks it well.
Slice pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Frankels throws the kick towards the body but Slice avoids it.
Slice throws a hook but Frankels avoids it easily.
Frankels loads up on a big right hand but Slice slips the punch.
Slice misses with a left hand
and Frankels finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Slice fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

and Slice counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Frankels looks to score with a jab to the body but Slice is just out of range.
Frankels throws a shot from downtown. Slice moves away and avoids it.
A quick step to the side and Slice tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Slice has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

and Frankels counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Frankels rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Slice counters with a stiff right hand.

That has opened up Rocket Bob Frankels's cut even more.
Slice throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Frankels sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Slice connects with a good right hand that stumbles Frankels. Frankels circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Frankels misses with a hook to the body
and Slice counters with a nice body kick.
Frankels moves into range and connects with a jab.
Slice throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Frankels connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Frankels throws out a leg kick but Slice moves out of range and Frankels only half commits.
Frankels cracks Slice with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A head kick by Frankels misses
and Slice counters with a stiff right hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Slice, as that shot connected.
Frankels loads up on a big right hand but Slice slips the punch.
Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frankels moves out of range as Slice strikes.

A telegraphed right hand from Slice misses the target.
Frankels throws out a counter right but Slice avoids it with no problem.
Frankels tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Slice misses with an uppercut. Frankels saw that one coming.
Frankels blocks a jab.
Frankels tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Slice is able to avoid easily.
Slice looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Frankels looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

The cut above Rocket Bob Frankels's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Frankels takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Frankels defending well as Slice loads up on a big left hand.
Frankels attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Slice throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Frankels throws a head kick but Slice moves out of range.
Slice gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Slice fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Frankels manages to avoid it.
Frankels swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Frankels moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A big left from Slice misses.
Frankels misses with a looping left.
Slice bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Slice connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Slice lands a lovely overhand right.
Slice takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Frankels misses with a body kick.
Slice dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kimbo Slice dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Frankels checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Frankels takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Frankels ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Frankels attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slice throws a looping overhand right but Frankels ducks down to avoid it.

Slice is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Frankels can do to turn this around?

Slice feints and then cracks Frankels's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Frankels down.

A little feinted left hand from Slice on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slice is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Frankels might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Slice has got the better of the exchanges.

Rocket Bob Frankels's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Slice ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Slice lands a nice leg kick that just misses Frankels's sensitive parts.
Frankels throws a body kick that misses.
Frankels walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rocket Bob Frankels's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kimbo Slice!
Kimbo Slice retains his heavyweight title!
Kimbo Slice decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
In defeat, Rocket Bob Frankels stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well done Kimbles. Pleasure to share a cage with you again. This is our 6th meeting. 2 to you, 3 to me, 1 draw.'.
