Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Russell Northrop (ranked 1574 p4p, 208 weight class) and John Marston (ranked 3431 p4p, 392 weight class). Northrop comes to the cage accompanied by Alive And Kicking. Marston has chosen Far Away as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Nice takedown defense from Marston. No joy for Northrop on that attempt.

Some bone on bone action there as Marston checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

That was a close round but I would say that Russell Northrop will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Marston stalks Northrop and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Northrop's face. Northrop staggers backwards, shaken.

Northrop shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Marston's guard.

Northrop gets to his feet and stands over Marston, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Marston felt that one! Northrop unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Marston from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Russell Northrop!
Russell Northrop gave a mention to Urban Fighter in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
