Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kalvin Big Bam (ranked 5894 p4p, 422 weight class) and Felipe Silva (ranked 2224 p4p, 237 weight class). Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ratamahatta - Sepultura. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Big Bam misses with a wild combination.
Silva works over Big Bam's head and body with a nice combination.

Silva digs a right hand underneath Big Bam's ribcage. Big Bam let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva is pressed up against the cage. Big Bam has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Silva feints with a jab and clips Big Bam right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Big Bam is sent crashing into the canvas and Silva leaps in for the kill! Big Bam tries to get to his feet but Silva is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Big Bam is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Felipe Silva!
Felipe Silva tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
