The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PF throws a poor cross that misses
and Herrera Jr counters with a body kick that stops PF in his tracks momentarily.
PF shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Herrera Jr napping and manages to drive through into side control!
PF works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Herrera Jr is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on PF's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. PF lands a nice short elbow.
PF lands strikes from half guard.
Herrera Jr has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for PF. Oh but Herrera Jr has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! PF goes limp - he's gone! Herrera Jr jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
