Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Hedger (ranked 4263 p4p, 423 weight class) and Tj White (ranked 2167 p4p, 249 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamie Hedger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tj White! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hedger on the side of the head. White listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hedger doesn't succeed with the takedown and White counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. White lands a lovely overhand right. White listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. White throws out a loose jab but Hedger uses good head movement to avoid it. White swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hedger appears to be looking for a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hedger avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hedger tries to clinch but fails miserably and White cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. White looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hedger looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Hedger tries to clinch but White moves away and White counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. White stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. White might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Hedger throws a head kick that misses enabling White to counter with a crisp jab. A jab from White does it's job there. White jabbing away but nothing is landing. White bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hedger's head. Hedger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hedger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Nice cross by White. White throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hedger on the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Nice defenses there by Hedger. White slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! White with a nice cross. White waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hedger. White cracks Hedger with an open hand slap. White throws an overhand right that lands on Hedger's shoulder, as Hedger tries to avoid the shot. Hedger attempts a counter takedown but White avoids it well and moves away. Hedger keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from White. Hedger drops down looking for a counter takedown but White sprawls and moves away. Hedger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and White counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jamie Hedger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hedger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and White counters with a nice uppercut. Hedger moves away from the strike by White. White throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hedger decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in White's guard. White wants to get back to his feet but Hedger is in a dominant position and won't allow it. White is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Hedger sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed White's guard. Hedger is looking to advance position but White won't allow it. White is trying to escape back to his feet but Hedger uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White prevents Hedger from moving into mount. Hedger thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Hedger is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt White will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Hedger is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but White is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. White is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tj White dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
White misses with a hook. White lands with a hook. Hedger tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Nice defenses there by Hedger. White loads up on a big right hand but Hedger slips the punch. Hedger tries to counter with a takedown but White is quick to defend against it. White misses with a straight left. Hedger feinted with a counter takedown. Hedger keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from White. Hedger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and White connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White connects with a nice looking jab.

White smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. White jabs Hedger right on the nose. Hedger blinks but takes it well. Hedger throws a leg kick and White counters with a stiff right hand. Tj White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick by Hedger misses and White counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hedger doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hedger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. White misses with an uppercut. White connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. White bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hedger's head backwards.

White lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. White misses with a right hand so Hedger counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. White is wriggling around but Hedger manages to pass to half guard.
White is trying to stand up here but Hedger is controlling him well. Hedger content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. White is looking to escape. Hedger not doing much here.
Hedger seems to be working for a kimura but White defends the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White is defending against the submission attempts here by Hedger.
Hedger wants to free his trapped foot but White is holding on for dear life with his legs. White wants to get back to his feet.
Hedger wants to work for an arm triangle but White is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jamie Hedger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hedger is trying to work for a kimura but White is defending well.
White scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hedger manages to mount him!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. White's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Hedger sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if White can do anything to dispel that myth. White is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Hedger controlling his opponent. White really wants to buck Hedger off and get back to his feet. Hedger takes White's back. White trying to get back to his feet but Hedger is in full control for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tj White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Hedger counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hedger's corner is telling him to maintain position. Hedger is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hedger sitting and controlling from the half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fighters circling - White throws out the jab but it was never going to land. White throws a hook but Hedger avoids it easily. Hedger tries to counter with a takedown but White is quick to defend against it. White scores with a nice strike. Hedger fails with the takedown and White counters with a straight right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
White lands with a cross. Hedger misses with a takedown letting White counter with a right hand. Jab from White. White throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hedger sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hedger drops down looking for a counter takedown but White sprawls and moves away. White cracks Hedger with an open hand slap. White throws a shot from downtown. Hedger moves away and avoids it.

and Hedger counters with a nice double leg into side control. White won't be happy with that. White tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. White is trying to get back to his feet but Hedger has full control of the position and if anything, White has just worked his way into a worse spot. Hedger trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure White doesn't escape. White is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Hedger gets his way!
White trying to get back to his feet but Hedger is in full control for now. Hedger is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
White really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hedger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. White trying to get back to his feet but Hedger is in full control for now. Jamie Hedger has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hedger has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Tj White. I've got White winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Tj White! Tj White spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
