Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Burl Chandler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kadali Muwamba!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muwamba scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Muwamba wants to stand up but Chandler has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Muwamba slips a nice elbow through Chandler's hands, connecting with Chandler's forehead.
Muwamba tries to stand and escape but Chandler is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chandler tries to roll over but Muwamba keeps him under control.
Chandler gets back to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chandler is on top in guard.
Chandler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Muwamba looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chandler is one step ahead there.

Chandler throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Muwamba works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Chandler loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Chandler wants to stand but Muwamba is controlling his posture from full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chandler stays in close to Muwamba's body and controls the position.
Chandler with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Chandler lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Muwamba throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Chandler escapes and throws Muwamba's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Muwamba tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Chandler presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Muwamba is just holding on here. Chandler manages to take his back.

Chandler is riding his opponent, not letting Muwamba buck him off.

Muwamba just trying to survive but Chandler is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Chandler controlling the position well here. Muwamba rolled but Chandler kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Muwamba tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Burl Chandler dominated that round.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chandler is defended easily by Muwamba.
A head kick from Muwamba lands but Chandler takes it in his stride.
Muwamba scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Muwamba shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chandler lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Chandler or perhaps it was just good defense by Muwamba, which made it look bad.
Muwamba shoots in looking for a takedown but Chandler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Muwamba's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kadali Muwamba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chandler misses with a takedown attempt
and Muwamba counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Chandler is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Burl Chandler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Muwamba is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Chandler is in big trouble! Muwamba is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Chandler. Poor guy.
