Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huwan Bagwis (ranked 1350 p4p, 203 weight class) and Valentin Taneyev (ranked 2361 p4p, 299 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Huwan Bagwis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Valentin Taneyev! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bagwis lands with an uppercut that bounces Taneyev off the cage and back into range. Taneyev slips under a jab. Bagwis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A telegraphed right hand from Bagwis misses the target. Bagwis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Taneyev sees it coming and avoids it easily. Taneyev throws out a counter right but Bagwis avoids it with no problem. Bagwis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Taneyev tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Taneyev with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bagwis to score with a decent uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bagwis misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Taneyev to counter with a crisp jab. Taneyev throws a series of punches but Bagwis avoids them all with ease. Bagwis is looking to counter with a shot to the body. The fighters circle momentarily. Bagwis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Bagwis does it's job there. Bagwis lands a leg kick that knocks Taneyev off balance momentarily. Bagwis throws a body shot but no joy. Taneyev throws a big counter head kick but Bagwis avoids it with no problem. Bagwis scores with a nice strike. Taneyev takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A shot to the liver by Bagwis. Beautiful body shot. Bagwis throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Taneyev looks like he wants to counter punch here. Bagwis wants to slow Taneyev down by chopping away at his legs. A countering left hand to the body from Taneyev misses. Some wild striking there from Taneyev.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taneyev takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Taneyev swings widly with a right hand
and Bagwis counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Nice cross by Bagwis. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bagwis throws a body punch but Taneyev moves out of range. Bagwis looks to throw the jab but Taneyev is out of range. A cross from Bagwis lands. Taneyev lands a jab to the head.
Bagwis misses the body punch and Taneyev counters with a nice uppercut. Bagwis connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bagwis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bagwis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Bagwis loads up on a big right hand but Taneyev slips the punch. Bagwis looks to land a right hand but Taneyev moved out of range. Taneyev avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Good exchange - Bagwis coming out on top. Bagwis throws the left hand but Taneyev avoids the punch easily. Bagwis throws out a powerful jab. Huwan Bagwis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bagwis connects with a crisp jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taneyev lands a slapping body shot.
Taneyev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Taneyev slips a jab from Bagwis. It seemed like Taneyev was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Bagwis looks to land a left hand but Taneyev moved out of range nicely. Bagwis throws a lazy uppercut
and Taneyev counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Bagwis is out cold! A devastating KO!
