Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iron Shiek (ranked 4838 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladmir Golovkin (ranked 4939 p4p, 391 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Iron Shiek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vladmir Golovkin! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Golovkin throws a right and a left that both miss. Shiek thows a left - swing and a miss! Shiek throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Despite the aggression on Golovkin's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Golovkin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shiek counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Shiek passes to side control. Golovkin is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Shiek is controlling him well. Shiek thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Shiek tries to score with some ground and pound. Golovkin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Shiek creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Golovkin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Golovkin can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shiek looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Golovkin is avoiding damage well.
Shiek has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Golovkin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Shiek has just dragged him back down to the mat. Sloppy strikes there by Shiek. Golovkin dodges the ground and pound from Shiek. Shiek wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Golovkin, who protects the arm well. Golovkin is not content to let Shiek control the position. Shiek scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Golovkin to see if he's OK. Shiek in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Golovkin is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
