The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres slaps away a takedown attempt from Miguel, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Torres lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Torres.

Torres has managed to clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Torres's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Miguel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miguel swinging wildly here.
Miguel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Torres circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice takedown defense from Torres. No joy for Miguel on that attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miguel tries to clinch but Torres moves away
and Torres counters with a two punch combo.
No luck for Miguel with that takedown attempt.

Miguel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Torres manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Miguel shoots in looking for a takedown. Torres tries to sprawl out of it but Miguel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Torres manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Torres throws a combination. Miguel tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Torres lands a left and a right that send Miguel crashing to the mat, dazed. Torres thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Miguel is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Miguel gets a clinch.
Oh Miguel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Torres is trying to push Miguel away but Miguel has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Miguel seems to have got his legs back now.
Miguel is breathing heavily.
Torres stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Torres tries to break free but Miguel pushes him back against the cage.
Torres is trying to break the clinch but Miguel is controlling him.
Torres wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Torres lands a nice shot to the body.
Miguel keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Torres's efforts to push away.
Torres is leaning against Miguel and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Torres lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Miguel or not.
Miguel keeps control of Torres as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Torres takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Torres lands with a left to the head.
Miguel wants to get back to striking at distance but Torres won't allow it.
Torres lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Miguel backwards.
Torres works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Torres lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Miguel has Torres pressed against the cage, preventing Torres from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Torres working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Torres tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Miguel prevents Torres from breaking the clinch.

Torres pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Uadab Torres is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Miguel drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Torres lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Miguel goes down and covers up as Torres starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
