The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moxley throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez rushes Moxley and presses him up against the cage.
Rodriguez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Moxley looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Moxley swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Rodriguez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Moxley gets tackled into the cage by Rodriguez. Rodriguez maintains the clinch.
Moxley manages to break the clinch.
Rodriguez moves out of range of the strikes.
Moxley walks into a straight right hand from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Moxley shoots in but no luck this time.
Rodriguez looking to score a takedown here. Moxley is defending well but Rodriguez drives through and ends up in Moxley's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rodriguez postures up in Moxley's guard and throws a big left but Moxley blocks it.
Rodriguez is posturing up here but Moxley has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Rodriguez tries to roll out but it's too tight and Rodriguez has to tap! Slick submission there by Moxley!
