Rockton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Organ Donor. Bob Jay has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with MJ Rockton's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, MJ Rockton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bob Jay!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rockton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jay tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rockton looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Jay can't do much from the bottom here.
Jay is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Rockton is staying active.
Jay tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Rockton tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Jay might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rockton kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Rockton fails with the takedown.

Rockton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jay but Jay pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck for Jay with that takedown attempt.
Jay tries to land a front kick but Rockton steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Horrible takedown by Jay or perhaps it was just good defense by Rockton which made him look bad.

Jay wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Rockton lands with a right to the head.
Jay tries to score a body lock takedown but Rockton shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rockton keeps control of Jay as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Rockton has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jay clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Rockton is breathing heavily.
Jay just trying to survive but Rockton is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Jay manages to reverse the position and now he's in Rockton's guard. Nice work there by Jay.

Rockton is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Rockton tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jay controls from within his opponent's guard.
Jay wants to control from the top but Rockton keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rockton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jay paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Jay counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Jay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rockton is trying to control the position but Jay postures up.

Jay should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Jay trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jay stands and throws Rockton's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Jay is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rockton will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Jay has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Rockton is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Jay yanks on the arm and Rockton is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Jay.
