Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Matusov (ranked 941 p4p, 136 weight class) and Kill Monger (ranked 1318 p4p, 183 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Boris Matusov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kill Monger! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Matusov with that takedown attempt. Matusov scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Monger explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! An inside leg kick lands from Monger. Monger keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Monger misses with a two punch combination.
Matusov changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Monger rushes Matusov and presses him up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Matusov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Monger can't fight it off and eventually Matusov manages to take the fight to the floor. Monger looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Matusov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Monger swivels though and keeps the full guard. Matusov is working Monger over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monger wants to stand but Matusov is controlling the position. Monger had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Matusov defends it easily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Monger is on top in guard.
My spies in London's Elite Grappler's PLUS ($950) inform me that Monger has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Monger wanted to stand there but Matusov had control of the position. Matusov looking for a triangle here. Monger is fighting it but it looks tight! Matusov pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Monger is tapping out - this one is all over!
