Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Foster (ranked 4792 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Blevio (ranked 5866 p4p, 0 weight class). Blevio has chosen De Sfroos- Davide VDS as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Foster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Roberto Blevio! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blevio with a jab. Foster takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Foster looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Blevio is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Foster drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Foster gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Blevio has one foot on Foster's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Blevio has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Foster ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blevio moves away. Blevio bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Foster's head. Foster tries to bum rush Blevio with a series of wild strikes but Blevio uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Roberto Blevio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Foster decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Blevio is trying to maintain the position but Foster is very close to passing his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blevio looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Foster is going to stand back up.
Blevio is trying to control but Foster passes into side control!
Foster trying to control the action but Blevio is working from the bottom. Foster tries to stand but Blevio is controlling his head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blevio gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Foster sitting and controlling from the half guard. Blevio manages to get to full guard.
Blevio has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Foster can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Foster trying to control but Blevio is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blevio scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Foster shoots in looking for a takedown. Blevio tries to sprawl out of it but Foster keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blevio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Some wild striking there from Blevio.
Blevio misses with the combination.
Blevio lands a head kick. Foster smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Charlie Foster has been cut. Foster takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Blevio pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Foster went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Blevio shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Foster defends it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foster fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Blevio throws a combination. Foster tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Foster is breathing heavily. Blevio lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Foster sprawling to the canvas. Blevio follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Foster hang on?
Foster is rocked! Foster really is a fat lump. Blevio frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Oh Foster is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Foster wants to hold on but Blevio pushes him away. Foster seems to have got his legs back now. Blevio has control of Foster's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Foster regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Blevio fails to take his opponent's back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roberto Blevio dominated that round. The cut man is working on Charlie Foster's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Blevio swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Foster. Blevio misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Foster throws a half hearted mid kick. Foster walks into a straight right hand from Blevio. Foster throws a shot from downtown. Blevio moves away and avoids it. Blevio misses with a double jab.
Foster looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Blevio! Blevio bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Blevio is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Foster gets a double leg takedown into Blevio's guard. Blevio is looking for a triangle but Foster pushes his legs off easily.
Blevio is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blevio looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Foster has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Foster trying to control but Blevio is working from the bottom. Blevio has control of Foster's left arm, preventing Foster from doing any damage. Foster is stalling in the full guard. Blevio working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Foster has passed into half guard!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Foster wants to take a breather but Blevio is having none of it. Foster wants to free his trapped foot but Blevio is holding on for dear life with his legs. Blevio is looking to control Foster's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Blevio avoid being mounted? Foster seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Blevio does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Blevio wants to get back to full guard but Foster has mounted him! Foster with a couple of short strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blevio is in all sorts of trouble here.
Foster looking to control but Blevio is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Blevio tries to hold on but Foster pushes him away. Blevio is wriggling around trying to escape.
Roberto Blevio has got the better of the ground game so far. Blevio is still trying to improve position. Blevio is squirming around, avoiding Foster's attempts to control the action. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Blevio tries to hold on but Foster postures up. Foster knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blevio on the ground. Foster takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foster cracks Blevio with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Blevio tries to hold on but Foster pushes him away. Blevio keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Foster scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Blevio?
Blevio tries to get back to half guard but can't. Foster trying to control but he's not successful this time. Blevio is desperately trying to improve his position but Foster has a good base and remains in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Charlie Foster will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Charlie Foster's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Foster closes the distance and clinches up with Blevio, looking for a takedown. Foster pushes Blevio against the cage but Blevio circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Blevio stuffs the takedown. Blevio doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Foster takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Blevio has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Blevio scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Foster shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blevio but Blevio pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blevio cracks Foster with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Blevio defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Foster. Foster misses with a head kick.
Roberto Blevio seems to be getting the better of the standup. Foster tries to clinch there but Blevio circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sloppy strikes from Blevio. Those never looked like landing. Charlie Foster is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Foster misses with the body kick and Blevio connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Blevio lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Some wild striking there from Blevio.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blevio throws a head kick that misses. Blevio throws a right and a left that both miss. Blevio attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Foster changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Blevio lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Blevio throws a left that rocks Foster and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Blevio dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Foster regain composure!
Foster on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Foster tries to get out of the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Blevio in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Foster is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
