The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Malikov gets a double leg takedown into Hernandez's guard.

Hernandez pushes Malikov off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Horrible takedown attempt by Malikov or perhaps it was just good defense by Hernandez, which made it look bad.

Malikov feints and as Hernandez raises his hands in defense, Malikov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hernandez is trying to keep Malikov in close.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Malikov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
