Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Solomon Cook (ranked 4563 p4p, 44 weight class) and Puck Heidegger (ranked 3860 p4p, 38 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Solomon Cook! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 7 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Puck Heidegger! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heidegger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cook misses with an uppercut. Cook throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Cook throws a sloppy head kick and Heidegger moves out of range easily. Cook misses with a body shot.
Heidegger closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Cook with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Some wild striking there from Cook.
Solomon Cook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Heidegger takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Cook throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Heidegger misses with a leg kick. Heidegger throws a hook but Cook blocks it. Heidegger dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cook. That did some damage! Heidegger feints and then cracks Cook's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cook down. Heidegger explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Heidegger looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Heidegger needs to keep his hands up - Cook had a free shot at his head there. Cook throws a head kick but Heidegger moves out of range.
Heidegger misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cook throws an overhand right that lands on Heidegger's shoulder, as Heidegger tries to avoid the shot. Cook throws a nice looking combination but Heidegger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cook takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Cook is breathing heavily. Heidegger turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Cook looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Heidegger misses with a kick to the body.
Cook doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Cook jabs Heidegger right on the nose. Heidegger blinks but takes it well. Heidegger misses with a low kick as Cook jumps back. Heidegger slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Solomon Cook has been cut. Heidegger misses with a looping left. Cook cracks Heidegger with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Heidegger shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cook throws a nice looking combination but Heidegger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Nice uppercut there from Cook. Cook avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Cook quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Cook swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Heidegger. Cook attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Heidegger looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cook crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Heidegger - the referee stops the clock and Cook gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Heidegger. Cook manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Heidegger throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cook takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A chopping leg kick lands by Heidegger. A slow jab from Cook misses its intended target. Jab, jab by Heidegger - just one landing. Heidegger misses with a low kick. Cook chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Heidegger can pounce on him.
Heidegger fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cook walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Cook uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Heidegger. Cook checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Cook moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Solomon Cook's cut is getting worse. Cook drops his guard momentarily, allowing Heidegger to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Cook! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Heidegger takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Puck Heidegger!
