Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mariano Charles (ranked 4827 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Dunne (ranked 4838 p4p, 433 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mariano Charles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyler Dunne! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunne manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Charles on his heels. He'll look to pass Charles's guard now, I'm sure. Charles is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dunne dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dunne tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dunne has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dunne wants to stand but Charles has his arm trapped. Dunne cracks Charles with a big right hand but Charles just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Dunne has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dunne has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Charles! Dunne controlling from mount. Charles keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunne controlling the pace for now. Charles throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Dunne working for a submission but Charles is keeping him at bay. Dunne lands with some strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dunne controlling the position easily from mount. Dunne working the ground and pound effectively.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Charles is in a horrible position here. Dunne smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Dunne tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Dunne controlling from mount. Charles is trying to stand. Charles is trying to reverse the position but instead Dunne has taken his back - oops! Dunne gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Charles is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Charles is in bad spot here.
Dunne is looking for the choke from the back position but Charles is controlling his hands well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dunne is cranking Charles's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Charles! He's tightened the choke and Charles is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tyler Dunne!
