The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Buckley goes for a takedown attempt but Johnson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Johnson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Buckley, pushing him back against the cage. Buckley has had enough of the clinch but Johnson keeps him there for the moment. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Johnson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Buckley's guard. Johnson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Buckley keeping full guard, as Johnson tries to pass. Buckley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buckley had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily. Johnson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson pushes down on Buckley's leg and manages to get into half guard. Johnson slows the pace down in half guard. Buckley is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Johnson pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Johnson wants to work for an arm triangle but Buckley is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Johnson wants to pass the guard but Buckley is defending well. Johnson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Johnson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Buckley to stand up. Johnson takes the fight into the clinch. Buckley misses with an elbow over the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson drags the fight down to the ground.
Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Johnson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Johnson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Buckley has managed to free his arm - good work. Buckley manages to get to full guard.

The ref calls for Buckley to stand up. Johnson throws a head kick that misses. Johnson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Buckley wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Buckley is trying to drag Johnson to the mat but Johnson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Johnson manages to pull guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buckley being controlled here momentarily. Buckley throwing strikes from guard but Johnson blocks nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Johnson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Perry Buckley's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Johnson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Johnson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is controlling Buckley's posture. Johnson looking for a sweep. Not yet Johnson, not yet. Buckley prevents Johnson from getting back to his feet. Bob Johnson has got the better of the ground game so far. Johnson looking to control.
Johnson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Johnson pulls Buckley in close to prevent any damage. Buckley tries to stand but Johnson is controlling from the bottom. Johnson pulls Buckley in to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Johnson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Johnson tries to circle away but Buckley has him pinned against the cage. Johnson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Buckley has Johnson pushed against the cage. Buckley controlling the action here for a moment.
Buckley gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Stalling in the clinch from Buckley.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Buckley for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Johnson pulls guard successfully.
Buckley trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Johnson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Johnson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Johnson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Buckley trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson controls Buckley momentarily but Buckley frees himself. Johnson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Buckley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Johnson managing to control the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Buckley trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Johnson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Buckley's half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Buckley working to try and regain half guard.
Buckley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Johnson controlling from the full mount. Buckley keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Johnson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Buckley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Johnson controls the pace. Buckley is trying to get back to full guard. Johnson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Buckley is in trouble now - Johnson has advanced to mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Johnson controlling his opponent. Buckley is squirming around, avoiding Johnson's attempts to control the action. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Johnson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Buckley because Johnson loaded up on that one. Perry Buckley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bob Johnson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Buckley is working to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
