Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bismack Kagonbo (ranked 506 p4p, 74 weight class) and Gniewomir Lach (ranked 325 p4p, 48 weight class). Kagonbo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Voodoo. Lach has chosen Soel as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bismack Kagonbo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gniewomir Lach!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Kagonbo misses.
Lach feints a counter leg kick.
Nice shot by Kagonbo.
It looks like Gniewomir Lach has been cut.
Lach moves into the clinch.
Lach's coach down at Chakuriki LA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lach's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Lach digs a right hand into Kagonbo's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kagonbo's gas tank.
Kagonbo tries to break the clinch but Lach is controlling the position.
Lach tries to throw a body punch but Kagonbo avoids it by throwing Lach back against the cage.
Lach can't find room to land a body shot as Kagonbo controls the action.
Lach scores with a nice hook to the head.
Lach manages to break the clinch.
Kagonbo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lach eats them both and turns towards Kagonbo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Kagonbo scores with a jab.
Kagonbo throws a shot from downtown. Lach moves away and avoids it.
Kagonbo drops Lach with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lach looks back up at him and smiles so Kagonbo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Lach is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kagonbo moves out of range as Lach throws a body kick.
Lach tries to bum rush Kagonbo with a series of wild strikes but Kagonbo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lach takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Lach misses the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kagonbo lands an overhand right.
Lach is still on wobbly legs! Can Kagonbo finish him?
That has opened up Gniewomir Lach's cut even more.
Kagonbo cracks Lach with a left hook right on the temple and Lach goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Kagonbo lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Lach is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bismack Kagonbo!
After the fight, Bismack Kagonbo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
