The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Puncher sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Puncher lands a body shot.
Puncher scores with a jab to the jaw.
Richards has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Puncher finds it's way round the side to connect with Richards's head.
Puncher throws a hook but Richards avoids it easily.
Puncher will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puncher dips to his left and cracks Richards with an uppercut!

Richards drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

so Richards counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Puncher working for submissions but it's allowed Richards to get to half guard.

Puncher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Richards on the ground.

Richards lands a strong strike to the head of Puncher. That's dazed him! Richards looking to finish here. Puncher is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Richards lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
