Kessler has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Lucien Kessler had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kessler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Douglas throws a series of punches but Kessler moves out of range.
Donk. Douglas catches Kessler right on the button with a cross.
Kessler lands a slapping body shot.
Douglas lands a body shot.
Kessler is breathing heavily.
Kessler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Douglas manages to avoid it.
Kessler swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Douglas lands the left hand.
It looks like Lucien Kessler has been cut.
Douglas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Douglas throws a nice looking combination but Kessler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Douglas changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Douglas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kessler sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A counter left hand to the body from Kessler misses its target.
Kessler uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Douglas.
Douglas throws a hook but Kessler blocks it.
Douglas lands a big right hand that sends Kessler crashing to the mat! Douglas stays standing though and waves Kessler back to his feet!
Kessler is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BOOM! Douglas lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kessler. Kessler tries to recover but Douglas is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kessler lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buster Douglas!
