The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Risk uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Motu.
Risk throwing a counter right hand but Motu manages to avoid it.
Risk lands with an overhand left.
Risk on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Motu moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Jackson Risk has been cut.
A combination from Risk does no damage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Motu. Risk does a little dance to reset his feet.

Motu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Motu showed some decent athleticism there.
Motu working the head and body with strikes.
Risk is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Motu scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Risk has hold of Motu's hands but Motu slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Risk is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Motu pulls his head out easily.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Motu in particular looking to stall.

Motu is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Motu with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Motu connects with a couple of short punches.
Motu tries to free his leg and advance position but Risk is retaining full guard.
Motu is stalling in the full guard.
Motu scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Motu is sitting in close to Risk's body. Risk has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Motu is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Motu is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Risk.
