Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dwayne Perry was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Williams! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwayne Perry! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side. The fight moves into the clinch position. Williams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Perry walks away with a smile on his face. Williams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Williams misses with the combination.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Williams lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Perry has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Perry and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Williams scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Dwayne Perry has been cut. Perry moves in looking to clinch but Williams pushes him off. Williams keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Williams gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Perry passes Williams's left leg - he's now in half guard. Williams on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Williams tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry is keen to just control but Williams is a slippery customer. Perry sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Williams defending well though. Perry looks to land a strike but Williams avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Perry drops back looking for a leg! Williams is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Williams manages to kick Perry off! Perry jumps back into Williams's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Williams holds on and takes a little breather. Perry pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Williams is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Perry throws a big right hand that misses. Williams keeping moving, preventing Perry from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Perry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Williams manages to avoid it. A leg kick checked by Perry. Williams drops Perry with a nice combination! Williams dives into Perry's guard, looking to finish!

Perry has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Williams wants to control from the top but Perry keeps moving.

Williams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Perry in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Williams is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Perry on the ground. Perry loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Perry throwing strikes but missing. Horrible takedown by Perry or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams which made him look bad. Williams throws a series of punches but Perry moves out of range. Williams misses with a double jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A telegraphed right hand from Perry misses the target. Perry tries to clinch up. Perry throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Perry off to one side. Perry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center. Williams bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rob Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No joy there for Williams, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A big left from Perry misses. Perry swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Perry looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rob Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dwayne Perry. Williams scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Williams misses with a low kick.

He's pushed Perry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perry fails in his attempt to clinch. Perry gets in close and instigates a clinch. Perry drops down looking for an ankle pick but Williams pulls his leg out and moves away.

Perry showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Williams.
And that's the end of the fight! Rob Williams showed his dominance in that final round. I think Williams has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
