Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Artur Aleksanyan (ranked 2051 p4p, 222 weight class) and Frank Ennis (ranked 6503 p4p, 440 weight class). Artur Aleksanyan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Artur Aleksanyan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Ennis!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aleksanyan.
Aleksanyan tries to clinch but Ennis moves out of range.
Aleksanyan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ennis is fending him off so far but Aleksanyan persists. Nope, Ennis circles away and we're back to standing.

Ennis tries to roll over but Aleksanyan keeps him under control.

Aleksanyan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Aleksanyan goes for a double leg but Ennis avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Ennis continues to drive forward.

That was a close second round but I would say that Artur Aleksanyan will probably get the nod.

Aleksanyan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ennis to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ennis shrugs it off.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Artur Aleksanyan.
