The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nash misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bastard shoots in looking for a takedown. Nash tries to sprawl out of it but Bastard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Nash - that will leave a mark!
Nash scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Nash misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Nash .
Nash throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Bastard stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Nash follows into mount!
Bastard is rocked!
Nash forces the positional change into back control.
Bastard is still in real trouble! Can Nash finish him?
Nash has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Bastard is defending well but eventually Nash manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Bastard has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
